KULTUR SEKOLAH DALAM PENGUATAN LITERASI MEMBACA KITAB SUCI SEBAGAI DASAR PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Pendidikan dasar merupakan fase strategis dalam pembentukan karakter, sehingga sekolah perlu menghadirkan kultur yang mendukung internalisasi nilai secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kultur sekolah dalam literasi membaca Kitab Suci sebagai dasar pembentukan karakter siswa di SD St. Petrus Puukou. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru kelas V, dan siswa kelas V. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan literasi membaca Kitab Suci dilaksanakan secara rutin sebelum pembelajaran, dipandu guru, dan telah menjadi bagian dari kultur sekolah. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan karakter religius, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan sikap saling menghargai. Meskipun terdapat hambatan berupa perbedaan kemampuan membaca siswa dan keterbatasan waktu, kegiatan ini tetap efektif sebagai pembiasaan religius dalam pembentukan karakter siswa sekolah dasar.
