PENYULUHAN DAN PELATIHAN BUDI DAYA KUMIS KUCING VARIETAS UNGU HASIL KULTUR JARINGAN PADA KELOMPOK TANI TUMBUH MANDIRI KOTA CIMAHI

Kelompok Tani Tumbuh Mandiri (TUMAN) Kota Cimahi merupakan kelompok tani binaan Perkumpulan Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia (PPDI) Kota Cimahi yang sebagian besar anggotanya merupakan penyandang disabilitas dan bergerak dalam bidang pertanian, perikanan, serta usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Permasalahan mitra meliputi keterbatasan pengetahuan mengenai komoditas pertanian bernilai ekonomi tinggi, teknik budi daya dan pascapanen, serta diversifikasi produk untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah hasil pertanian. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota TUMAN dalam mengenal potensi, membudidayakan, dan menangani pascapanen kumis kucing (Orthosiphon aristatus) varietas ungu hasil kultur jaringan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Balai Tani TUMAN, Kelurahan Citeureup, Kecamatan Cimahi Utara, Kota Cimahi, dengan melibatkan 10 peserta. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan melalui ceramah dan diskusi, demonstrasi dan praktik langsung penanaman bibit hasil kultur jaringan, pendampingan mengenai pemeliharaan dan pascapanen, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai peserta meningkat dari 55,0 pada pre-test menjadi 90,0 pada post-test, atau meningkat sebesar 63,6%. Seluruh peserta (100%) mengalami peningkatan nilai setelah mengikuti kegiatan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan dan pelatihan berbasis praktik dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai budi daya kumis kucing varietas ungu hasil kultur jaringan serta memberikan alternatif diversifikasi komoditas bernilai tambah bagi TUMAN.
