PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN DAN KEMAMPUAN PRAKTIK CAD SISWA SMA DAN SMK MELALUI PELATIHAN AUTODESK INVENTOR

Transformasi digital di bidang industri membuat penguasaan desain berbantuan komputer semakin penting untuk dikenalkan sejak pendidikan menengah. Namun, kebutuhan siswa SMK dan SMA tidak sepenuhnya sama. Siswa SMK dari program keahlian yang relevan telah mengenal gambar teknik atau CAD sebagai bagian dari kompetensi kurikulum, sedangkan siswa SMA umumnya belum memperoleh praktik CAD secara khusus. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkuat pengetahuan dan kemampuan praktik CAD siswa SMK sekaligus mengenalkan proses desain digital kepada siswa SMA melalui pelatihan Autodesk Inventor berbasis project-based learning. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 31 Januari 2026 di Laboratorium Komputer Fakultas Teknologi Manufaktur Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, Cimahi. Pelaksanaan meliputi pretest, demonstrasi, praktik terbimbing, proyek komponen mekanik sederhana, posttest, dan evaluasi kinerja. Rerata nilai siswa SMK meningkat dari 74,38 ± 4,17 menjadi 82,50 ± 4,63, dengan rata-rata peningkatan individual sebesar 11,21%. Rerata nilai siswa SMA meningkat dari 55,00 ± 5,00 menjadi 75,00 ± 5,00, dengan rata-rata peningkatan individual sebesar 36,87%. Siswa SMK menyelesaikan tugas dalam 30-45 menit, sedangkan siswa SMA dalam 60-90 menit. Seluruh peserta memperoleh nilai posttest yang lebih tinggi daripada nilai pretest. Pelatihan ini memperkuat kompetensi yang telah dikenal siswa SMK dan memberikan pengalaman awal CAD yang bermakna bagi siswa SMA. Perbedaan capaian dan waktu pengerjaan menunjukkan bahwa materi dan pendampingan perlu disesuaikan dengan latar belakang peserta., dan mendukung peningkatan nilai tambah UMKM.
