PENYULUHAN KESEHATAN DAN PEMERIKSAAN HEMOGLOBIN UNTUK PENCEGAHAN ANEMIA PADA PANDE BESI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TABANAN I

Pande besi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tabanan I berisiko tinggi mengalami anemia akibat paparan karbon monoksida (CO) yang menurunkan kadar hemoglobin. Permasalahan meliputi kondisi lingkungan kerja yang kurang sehat, penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) yang belum optimal, serta sikap kerja yang berpotensi menimbulkan keluhan muskuloskeletal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan anemia dan penyakit akibat kerja serta melakukan deteksi dini melalui pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin. Sebanyak 60 peserta mengikuti penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai anemia, penggunaan APD, sikap kerja ergonomis, serta pemeriksaan hemoglobin menggunakan metode POCT. Evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta secara signifikan. Hasil pemeriksaan hemoglobin mengungkapkan bahwa 31,67% peserta mengalami anemia. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran pande besi terhadap risiko paparan CO, pentingnya penggunaan APD, serta perlunya pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin sebagai upaya pencegahan dini anemia dan penyakit akibat kerja. Intervensi ini direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan secara rutin dengan dukungan kolaborasi antara puskesmas, kelompok pekerja, dan pihak terkait untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan sehat.
